The Mt. Washington Ski Club kicked off the competitive season at Panorama Mountain Resort, where our four FIS athletes competed in the MacLachlan GMC Cup from December 18–21, 2025. At the same time, four U16 athletes were on-snow for a focused training camp, making Panorama a hub of MWSC activity to start the winter.

Athletes were supported by Head Coach John Trimmer and U16 Coach Chelsea Adam, who guided the team through a busy week of racing, training, and early-season momentum building.

The event opened with women’s and men’s Giant Slalom races on December 18. Overnight snowfall delivered classic “Panorama powder,” but fresh conditions led to the cancellation of racing on December 19. The second GS ran on December 20, followed by a clean, well-run Slalom on December 21.

As the first team event of the season, Panorama set a strong foundation. Our U16 athletes logged some early-season training days, and our FIS athletes gained valuable race starts, and posted multiple finishes across the event—an encouraging start to the year ahead.
